Helmut Fischer GmbH as successful investor for measurement technology specialist Phototherm Dr. Petry GmbH

Helmut Fischer GmbH acquires measurement technology specialist Phototherm, expanding its product portfolio with photothermal coating thickness measurement.

Following the opening of insolvency proceedings, the insolvent measurement technology specialist Phototherm Dr. Petry GmbH has been successfully acquired by Helmut Fischer GmbH as an investor. As a new member of the Helmut Fischer Group, the company, which will now operate under the name Phototherm GmbH, will benefit in particular from Fischer's global sales network and broad application expertise.

"We see great advantages in Phototherm's technology and in the expertise of our new colleagues, who have extensive experience in a wide range of different applications," explains Dr. Martin Leibfritz, CEO of Helmut Fischer GmbH.

Berndt Kautter, previously CEO and now Head of Operations at Phototherm, is also relieved: "Now we can clearly focus on the future again with a strong, international partner."
